Tara Motzenbecker

After earning a Master’s degree in School Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, Tara began her career in the Pinellas County Schools as a School Psychologist. In the schools, she focused on gifted testing, academic evaluations, 504 evaluations and assisting in interventions for students. Tara began offering private gifted evaluations in 2008. She has developed a passion for ensuring that each child is seen and heard during the testing and their individual needs are met to optimize results.

In 2017, Tara decided she wanted to offer more and began her entry into therapy for children, teens and adults after earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. She attended advanced trainings in EMDR, treating OCD, trauma, behavior and anxiety.

Tara is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed School Psychologist, Registered Play Therapist, EMDR Certified Therapist and Consultant in Training. She is also certified as a PCIT Therapist, Within Agency Trainer and PCIT for Selective Mutism Therapist.

Tara truly enjoys connecting with her clients and seeing their lives improve day by day.

Bayley Mayo

Bayley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2022 from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she studied psychology. During her undergraduate studies, Bayley gained experience volunteering with children ages between 5-14 who had a variety of backgrounds. She interned at a nonprofit called Purchased: Not for Sale, where she spent time with women who were victims of the human trafficking industry. She learned a lot about different cultures as well as experienced working with trauma and drug related issues. After graduation, Bayley moved to Florida, where she began the process of earning her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She currently holds a 4.0 GPA and participates in two national societies. Bayley has continued volunteering with children, and keeps gaining experience from different backgrounds, especially in her new city.

Bayley is excited to continue working with children and their families. She believes that every situation can bring growth as people and the therapeutic process can bring a sense of peace that people may be missing. She recognizes the significance of faith in the healing process for many clients and ensures that they have the option to integrate their beliefs into their counseling experience. Each person is special in Bayley’s eyes, and she cannot wait to get to know the people she meets!
